Runs on FreeBSD and Linux (from the cvs sources). I also have it IPv6
enabled running on NetBSD (but no sound) and WinXP (would this be a useful
addition to the cvs repository?)

Check the README file on how to enable binding on a link-local multicast
address (useful to discover local server).

Drop me a message if you find any problem.

Florent

How's the IPv6 networking code ? Its for real, or just some comented
options in the Makefile ?

Howdy all,

Just FYI, a list of security vulnerabilities Quake2 was just published:

http://secur1ty.net/advisories/001-Multiple_Vulnerabilites_In_Quake_II_Server.txt

I've actually seen some of these in action, and I'm working with others on
efforts to patch the most serious ones ASAP...

Send me hints or suggestions if you wish. I'll send results to this project,
when I have something.

Karen

Good find! I actually fixed a hack for similar problem #7 way back, as it
used to crash Quake2 DDay servers (due to long 'time to respawn' after dying
